Youth Art Month is nationally celebrated, and every year the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/ Douglas County joins in the celebration by inviting our local schools to participate in making artwork to exhibit. The subject matter and art forms are open to artistic liberty as youth kindergarten-12th grade bring to our walls their most inspired pieces from the year and their explorations.
This year, no opening reception will take place. Instead, the CAC will offer private tours, will prepare a virtual experience for the families and artists, and will provide goodie bags to visitors of the youth exhibit.

The Douglasville Police Department will be holding a Virtual Town Hall Meeting in March.

Presented by the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County, we invite you to join Alice and the gang in their fun adventures this March!
This year enjoy flamingo croquet, story-telling, cookie-decorating, egg-hunting, pin the tail on the Cheshire cat, and tea-party fun! For just $10 per person, you can spend as long as you’d like between 11 am and 2 pm in the company of the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Red Queen, White Queen, and of course, Alice.

The Douglasville Police Department invites everyone to fellowship together while discussing topics impacting our community. Discussions are held on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month. We speak on local issues and work together as one for the benefit of the community. Depending on possibilities, some dates are spent out in the community. These meetings are currently held outside with social distancing.

Margaret Dyer, Karen Margulis, Marsha Hamby Savage, and Gary Baughman create soft, effortless artworks out of pastel that beg any viewer to glance a double take at the realism of images of our world. “Views of the World,” a show in pastel, will be on display April 1-29 at the Cultural Arts Center of Douglasville/ Douglas County. There will be a reception on April 1st hosted by Junior League of Douglasville.

The Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/ Douglas County series “Cheers to the Arts” returns! Join us on April 15, 2021 for “Wine in the Woods” and experience live entertainment, tastings, great food, door prizes, art vendors and much more!
